BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Puget Sound Energy (PSE) an outage in the south Bellingham area began about 7:25am on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

According to PSE, 5,948 of their business and residential customer addresses were impacted by the outage.
As of about 7:50am, the estimate for restoring power was 11am. The cause was under investigation.
Around the same time as the outage was reported, the Bellingham Fire Department was dispatched to an electrical emergency at a PSE substation located at McKenzie Avenue and 13th Street.
PSE reported power was restored by 10am.
