Power outage leaves hundreds in south Ferndale in the dark

FERNDALE, Wash. — Puget Sound Energy (PSE) is reporting 633 of their customers are without power as a result of an outage in south Ferndale extending over much of the Lummi Peninsula. The outage began at 6:30am according to PSE.

Winds in the area are reported to be gusting over 40mph this morning but as of 6:35am no cause for the outage had been cited by PSE.

As of 6:35am, the estimate for restoring power was 8:30am.
