FERNDALE, Wash. — After 15 years, the Luxe Thai Cuisine restaurant, located at 5685 3rd Street in Ferndale, has a new owner.
3 sisters, originally from Thailand, opened the restaurant in 2007 in the Quonset hut building across the alley to the north and moved to their current location in 2012.
According to business licenses issued in May, Luxe Thai Cuisine was recently sold to Sunantha “Sue” Day.
Former owner Suphaphorn “Sue” Nuntalogawithoon took to Facebook on Sunday, June 12th, to say goodbye and thank you to all of the customers over the year and to wish the new owner “nothing but the blessings and success.”

According to signage, the restaurant has been closed “for maintenance” since May 28th and is expected to reopen sometime in the middle of June.
We will miss her! This has been one of our family’s favorite restaurants since it opened.
