UPDATED: Pair wanted for 1st-degree murder in Bellingham encampment shooting

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Arrest warrants have been for the arrest of 2 people associated with a fatal shooting on April 15th at an encampment on Tull Road in Bellingham.

UPDATE (5/7/24 2:25pm): Police report both suspects are in custody.

An affidavit of probable cause submitted by prosecutors in Whatcom County Superior Court states the 30-year-old gunshot victim had been transported to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

Bellingham Police detectives investigated body worn camera footage of individuals police encountered when they arrived at the encampment along with police incident reports from other area encampments to identify the 2 suspects. Clark has a lengthy criminal history and several pending court cases in Whatcom County Superior Court
