Outage leaves many in north Whatcom County without power

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — A power outage impacted nearly 2,000 Puget Sound Energy (PSE) customers between Blaine and Lynden this morning, May 31st.

PSE reported the outage began after 8am this morning and the cause was a bird or animal.

As of 8:20am, PSE estimated power would be restored by 10:30am.

PSE reported power was restored throughout the impacted area around 9:20am.
