Motorcyclist wanted on suspicion of eluding, reportedly revealed himself to WSP with social media posts

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Washington State Patrol (WSP) reported today, Monday, April 28, 2025, that they arrested a motorcyclist over the weekend after he posted about his reckless escapades on social media creating suspicion of further crimes.

This weekend, after a lengthy investigation, Troopers made an arrest and seized a motorcycle used to previously elude them in March. The owner of the motorcycle posted this incident on a social media account bragging about getting away. While reviewing the social media account there was evidence of additional crimes such as reckless driving and hit & run relating to a road rage incident in January.

The 19-year-old was arrested and booked into Whatcom County Jail on April 26, 2025, charged with suspicion of hit and run of an attended vehicle, attempting to elude a police vehicle and reckless driving. On April 27, 2025, he posted a bond of $15,000 or $1,500 cash bail and was released from custody.
