Contractor, Whatcom Builders, crews were hard at work today, November 4th, digging out the center lane and laying down new layers while traffic flowed in both directions on both sides.
This is part of the road surface improvements which have been happening throughout Ferndale for the past few weeks.
Important Reminder
It is important to note that The City will be setting the traffic signal lights at LaBounty to change at fixed intervals instead of on demand (triggered by the presence of vehicles) from Tuesday to Friday. This is due to vehicle detector loops becoming temporarily disabled by the work.
