FERNDALE, Wash. — Whatcom County Ferry Department officials said ferry service between Gooseberry Point and Lummi Island had been suspended about 6:40am Saturday, October 26th. An “issue with the Lummi Dock” was given as the reason for the interruption in service.

Mechanics had been dispatched at the time of the announcement. No estimates were available for when service was expected to be resumed.

Ferry officials announced at 9:25am that repairs had been made and service was restored.
