Whatcom County Ferry Department officials announced again this morning the Whatcom Chief will be running on a modified schedule of 2 trips per hour today between Lummi Island and Gooseberry Point until 8pm. At 9pm, they will shift to 1 trip per hour.
The decision is the result of light vehicle traffic due to the snow-covered roads according to officials. This is a repeat of yesterday’s modified schedule.
