WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — An unexpected weather system appeared on local weather radars this evening about 7pm, Friday, May 20th, as it made its way southwest through British Columbia on its way into Whatcom County.
Forecasters with the Seattle office of the National Weather Service told Whatcom News they were monitoring the weather system and expected it could produce thunder and rain as it moves south, but nothing severe was expected.
UPDATE: While the change in the weather was noticeable, with a shift to colder northerly winds and some rain reported, radar images showed this system had mostly dissipated by the time it crossed the border.
This is a joke posting right?
