According a story in the Bellingham Herald, “Firefighters will be setting fire to and extinguishing a home during a training exercise Sunday, April 26, east of Custer. North Whatcom Fire and Rescue firefighters will conduct the training from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the home at 8021 Woodland Road.”
