
WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — The Seattle office of the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory that will be in effect until 4pm today, Monday, January 10th.
According to the advisory, sustained southeast winds of 25 to 35mph with gusts of 45 to 50mph can be expected.
Winds began shifting from northerly to southerly during the mid-morning hours and with the change came warming and increasing wind speeds.
UPDATE 3pm: The advisory has been extended to 4am Tuesday.
