UPDATED: Head-on injury crash closes W Axton Road and Main Street

FERNDALE, Wash. — First responders were dispatched about 7:45am on Wednesday, March 13th, to the 1500 block of Main Street due to a report of a 3-car crash.

Initial radio reports from the scene were of 1 person entrapped in their vehicle.

1 person was transported from the scene by ambulance to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center.

Traffic was being turned around to the west and east of the crash scene.

UPDATE 9am: City of Ferndale announced the road had been reopened in both directions.
