BELLINGHAM, Wash. — First responders were dispatched about 10:35am on Tuesday, April 30th, to the area south of the intersection of Guide Meridian and Axton Road due to a report of a crash. Initial reports from the scene were that a power pole was down and power lines were down across all lanes of Guide Meridian.
Northbound traffic was being diverted at Smith Road and southbound traffic was being diverted at Laurel Road.
The road was reportedly being reopened about 11:25am.
A pickup truck was reported to be the only vehicle involved in the crash.
