BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A 46–year-old Sedro-Woolley, Washington woman was sentenced on Thursday, November 6, 2025, in Western District of Washington Federal Court. She had pled guilty to federal charges that resulted from her embezzling over $1.4 million from her employer.
Amy Danielle Siniscarco was sentenced to serve 2 years in prison followed by 3 years of supervised release after pleading guilty to wire fraud and filing a false tax return.
While currently in federal custody, Siniscarco still faces the following criminal felony charges in Whatcom County Superior Court.
- 13 counts of forgery with intent to injure or defraud
- 1st-degree theft over $5,000
- 1st-degree identity theft
A hearing is scheduled for December 10, 2025, to determine whether to begin trial on January 5, 2026.
During a hearing on November 24, 2025, the defense noted they were expecting the prosecution to dismiss the charges “after finalizing [the] federal conviction.”
