Ferndale businesses find new ways to make doing business under COVID-19 mandates more enjoyable

FERNDALE, Wash. — While abiding by COVID-19 pandemic health safety mandates to minimize the number of people inside certain businesses, some businesses have gotten creative in finding ways to still make doing business under such conditions a more enjoyable experience.

Staff from the Whatcom Education Credit Union Ferndale branch could be seen offering popsicles to drive-up and ATM banking customers.

Staff with Rockwood Realty were outside their 4th Avenue and Alder Street office selling a truckload of corn the owner had brought in from Sumas with the proceeds going to benefit the Ferndale Food Bank.

A drive-through ceremony was the solution for performing a belt ceremony at the USTA Martial Arts Ferndale location on 3rd Avenue so friends and families could celebrate the accomplishments of the students alongside staff.
