Expect to see unusual aircraft in the north Whatcom sky during the Abbotsford Airshow this weekend

The 2021 Abbotsford Airshow is scheduled to be held Friday, August 6th, through Sunday, August 8th. While undertaking a different audience format (“a drive-in air show experience”) due to COVID-19 concerns this year, the annual event will still result in a variety of military, historical and sport aircraft flying over the north Whatcom County area as they fly in and out of the Abbotsford International Airport.

It’s not unusual to hear and see military and high-performance aircraft from around the world overhead during the airshow as pilots practice and perform. Organizers have posted a flying schedule for this year’s event.
