It is time for the Slater Road bridge over the Nooksack River to receive its required biennial bridge inspection. According to a Whatcom County Public Works press release, the inspection will occur Wednesday, April 12th from 8am to 12pm.
During the inspection, Slater Road will be reduced to a single lane with flaggers alternating the direction of traffic at the bridge. Drivers can expect delays and using alternate routes is advised.
