FERNDALE, Wash. — A Ferndale rally is planned Thursday, July 30th, in recognition of World Day Against Human Trafficking.
The rally is scheduled for 4:30pm on the Pioneer Bridge (Main Street) to bring awareness to human trafficking for labor and/or sex, specifically focusing on the children according to an email from organizers.
The event is organized by volunteers working with the anti-trafficking organization Operation Underground Railroad.
Organizers ask that all COVID-19 health safety measures be followed during the rally including wearing masks and physical distancing.
