Streets will remain open but traffic may be slowed by the rolling work crew.

The pickup's cab was partially crushed and it's left-rear tire and wheel were lying to the right of where the pickup ended up.
The road was closed to through traffic while crews worked to remove the fallen tree and repair the damaged power lines.
The crash left 298 without power with an estimate to restore power by 11pm.
Traffic was backed up for over a mile within 15 minutes of the first crash.
A private contractor will be grinding and repaving the section of road.
Work is scheduled to replace a culvert under Northwest Drive and repave portions of Northwest Drive and Slater Road.
The closure is planned to begin at 3am Monday, August 24th.
Passenger vehicle traffic will need to exit I-5 at Portal Way and semi trucks will exit at Birch Bay-Lynden Road to bypass the closure.
