As if there weren’t enough reasons to find things to do in Ferndale, this morning both northbound and southbound I-5 through Bellingham was reduced to one lane early this morning between Bakerview Road and Lakeway Drive. This resulted in stop-and-go traffic for the 5 miles through Bellingham until the cones were removed shortly after 11am.
There has been no official word yet for the unannounced lane closures except to say the lanes were closed due to maintenance.
