LYNDEN, Wash. — First responders were dispatched to the Guide Meridian (SR539) south of Badger Road (SR546) about 6:45am on Thursday, October 8, 2026, due to a report of a single-vehicle non-injury crash.
The first Washington State Patrol trooper on scene reported a travel trailer had left the road and was in a ditch. The northbound lane was blocked.
Washington State Department of Transportation reported about 8am that all lanes of the Guide Meridian were blocked in the area of the crash. No estimate for reopening the lanes was given.
As of 9am, both lanes remained closed between Badger Road and Main Street.
