FERNDALE, Wash. — Weather forecasters are forewarning of much warmer temperatures next week.
National Weather Service (NWS) forecasters in the Seattle office say western Whatcom County can expect an uptick to above normal temperatures peaking Wednesday next week as an upper level ridge builds along the coast into British Columbia.
A return to onshore flow Wednesday night into Thursday will help cool temperatures throughout western Washington forecasters say. Cooling will begin along the coast Thursday and continue into the interior Friday.
