FERNDALE, Wash. — Father and son, Joe Miles II and Joe Miles III, have begun the process of moving their businesses from their location on 11th Street in Fairhaven to downtown Ferndale.

Joe’s Sports Cards and Miles Woodworking will be relocating to 2016 Main Street and plans are for a May 1st opening.

Joe II owns Joe’s Sports Cards and the business features sports collectibles, cards and memorabilia according to his Facebook page. “We have jerseys, signed baseballs, autographed photos, wax packs and boxes. We trade and also buy collections.”

Joe III owns Miles Woodworking and according to the company website, they feature local handmade furniture including chairs, desks and tables made of handpicked premium hardwood.

Joe II said the decision to move came after the Fairhaven building was sold where their businesses were located. Ferndale was an attractive alternative since Joe III both lives in the area and his furniture workshop is in Ferndale.

Joe III said on his business website, “We are a family run business and one of my father’s passions is sports collectibles. So we decided to mix our two loves into one store and strangely, it works.”
