FERNDALE, Wash. — Forecasters with the National Weather Service Seattle office have issued a wind advisory from 7pm Sunday, November 29th, to 5am, Monday.
The advisory warns sustained southeast winds of 25 to 35mph with gusts to 50mph are forecast.
Update 3:30pm 11/29: Forecasters updated expected winds to sustained winds of 30 to 40mph with gusts up to 55mph.
Areas included in the advisory at western Whatcom County, San Juan County, western Skagit County and the Admiralty Inlet area.
Forecasters warn winds this strong could blow around unsecured objects, tree limbs could be blown down and power outages may result.
