Wind advisory issued for Monday and Tuesday

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Forecasters in the Seattle office of the National Weather Service have issued a wind advisory effective between 1pm Monday, February 21st, and 4pm Tuesday.

The advisory says sustained northeast winds of 20 to 30mph with gusts up to 55mph are likely during that time.

The advisory area includes western Whatcom County.

Forecasters warn that the combination of low temperatures and high wind speeds are expected to result in wind chill temperatures in the single digits early Tuesday morning.
