A Wind Advisory is in effect from midnight tonight, Monday, December 10th to 1pm tomorrow.
The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a Wind Advisory warning of sustained south winds of 20 to 35mph with gusts of 45 to 50mph.
The advisory is for Ferndale, Bellingham, Sandy Point, Anacortes and Friday Harbor from late tonight through early Tuesday afternoon.
Winds may be strong enough to down tree limbs, causing local power outages. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Drivers are advised to use extra caution.
