WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Puget Sound Energy reported over 17,600 of their customer addresses were without power as of 7:40pm today, October 15th.
The outages began about 6:40pm and equipment failure has been cited as the cause.
As of 7:30pm, PSE was estimating power would be restored by 9pm.
About the same time the outages began, first responders were dispatched to a report of a power pole in the roadway in the 900 block of East Grover Street in Lynden.
About 8pm, reports began being received about the power being restored.
