FERNDALE, Wash. — The former Ferndale State Bank building on the southeast corner of Main Street and 3rd Avenue is housing the 2nd Whatcom County office for Whatcom Republicans between now and the election in November according to office manager Kendra Bogaards.

The space, located at 2046 Main Street, has been set up to provide for volunteers phoning voters on behalf of the candidates while abiding by state mandates for physical distancing and mask wearing. Canopy tents have been set up inside the large open space to define safe spaces. The space will also be used for door-to-door campaigners to work from and restock their leave-behind collateral pieces.

A shop for purchasing campaign paraphernalia and clothes is set up inside the front door.
