Whatcom Genealogical Society meetings to be held in Ferndale

FERNDALE, Wash. — Officials with Whatcom Genealogical Society announced they are moving their meeting location from Bellingham to Ferndale beginning with the 2pm September 13th meeting.

Meetings will be held at the Pioneer Pavilion Community Center, 2007 Cherry Street, in Ferndale at 2pm on the 2nd Monday of each month except December, January, July and August. The public is welcome to attend. The meetings are useful for seasoned family historians as well as beginners wanting to learn how to get started.

At this time, organizers say, current health practices of mask wearing and physical distancing will be observed.

Whatcom Genealogical Society is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the advancement of genealogical research and the preservation of local records necessary to the research.
