- Annual Cleanup Day in Ferndale – Saturday, May 6th, from 8am to 12pm in the City Hall parking lot
- Master Gardener Hovander Plant Sale – Saturday, May 13th, from 9am to 2pm at Hovander Homestead Park
- Jr. Ski to Sea – Saturday, May 13th, from 9am at Mt Baker ski area and Lake Padden
- Ferndale Heritage Society Plant Sale – Saturday, May 13th, from 9am to noon on Riverside Drive in Ferndale
- Spring Car Show – Sunday, May 7th, from 9am to 2pm in the Les Schwab Ferndale parking lot
- Guided tours of authentic pioneer cabins in Pioneer Park run May 16th thru Sept 15th, Tuesdays through Sundays, from 11:30 till 4:30
- Whatcom Memorial Day Parade – Saturday, May 27th, from 12pm to 3pm
- Avenue of Flags – May 27th to the 29th at Greenacres Memorial Park in Ferndale
- Fairhaven Festival – Sunday, May 28th, from 11am to 7pm
- Ski to Sea – Sunday, May 28th, from Mt Baker Ski Resort passing through Glacier, Maple Falls, Nooksack, Everson, Lynden, Ferndale and Bellingham

- Lynden Farmer’s Day Parade – Saturday, June 3rd, from 10:30am to 1pm in downtown Lynden
- Bellingham Scottish Gathering – Saturday, June 3rd, at Grandview Acres (intersection of Grandview Road and Portal Way)
- Firecracker Car Show – Saturday, July 8th, from 9am to 2pm at Pioneer Park
- Deming Logging Show – Saturday and Sunday, June 10th and 11th, gates open at 9am and shows start at 1pm
- Sumas Community Days and Parade – Friday and Saturday, June 23rd and 24th
- Birch Bay Kite Festival – Saturday and Sunday, June 24th and 25th on the beach at Birch Bay

- Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration – Monday, July 4th, in downtown Blaine and Blaine Harbor
- 4th of July Celebration – Monday, July 4th, beginning at 2pm at the corner of W Laurel Street and Granary Avenue in Bellingham
- Everson / Nooksack Summer Festival – Friday and Saturday, July 7th and 8th
- Northwest Raspberry Festival – Friday, July 14th, from 10am to 8pm, and Saturday, July 15th, from 8am to 5pm, in downtown Lynden
- NW Tune-Up – Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 14th, 15th and 16th, at the Bellingham waterfront

- Noisy Waters Mural Festival – Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 18th, 19th and 20th, at the Bellingham waterfront
