WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Kids and adults are encouraged to participate in this summer’s Whatcom County Library System (WCLS) reading program.
WCLS launched the summer program on June 1st. Participants get cards to inspire reading new titles and to keep track of what titles have been read or listened to.
The cards for children, teens and adults feature blank steppingstones to fill in however you want. This year there are no requirements or goals; hence the theme is “Chart your path.”
Special summer events are also scheduled during the summer months providing engaging activities for children and teens including scavenger hunts.
