Whatcom County Health Department announces reaching 17% fully vaccinated

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Officials with the Whatcom County Health Department said that as of March 21st, more than 25% of the County’s population had received at least 1 dose of a COVID-19 vaccination. For those receiving the Johnson & Johnson-Janssen vaccine, that is enough to be considered “fully vaccinated.” Those receiving the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines need a second dose. As of March 27th, Health Department officials said 17% of the County were considered fully vaccinated, having had received all required doses.
