Whatcom County Public Works has scheduled the annual dry dock maintenance for the Lummi Island ferry, Whatcom Chief, to begin tomorrow, Thursday, September 10th. During this time the ferry will be out of service replaced by a passenger-only ferry combined with a shuttle service on the island.
The ferry is due to return to its regular schedule on Thursday, October 1st.
