We’re reading: Search-and-Rescue needs home after County earmarks their building for a coffee shop

SAR has land, but still no building, deadline to move is end of 2024

Whatcom County Search and Rescue (WCSAR) volunteers found out in during the summer of 2023 they would lose their long-time facility on Whatcom County property at W Smith Road and Northwest Drive to make room for a new coffee shop by Whatcom County offices. WCSAR must leave by the end of the year.
