7:20am: Good morning. It’s a mild morning with temperatures around Ferndale in the low 50s under partly cloudy skies.
TRAFFIC
The closure of Washington Street to through traffic continues (at least until September). The official detour is via Vista Drive and 3rd Avenue.
I-5 roadwork between Ferndale and Blaine in the northbound lanes is scheduled to continue until about 11am today. Drivers can expect one lane to be closed through the work areas.

Click for more informationWork is scheduled to resume this evening at 7pm and continue until 11am tomorrow with the northbound work area lane closures and two significant ramp closures. Drivers should plan for both the Slater Road and Portal Way northbound off- and on-ramps to be closed beginning at 7pm tonight and continuing to 11am tomorrow.
