4:30pm – PSE is now reporting nearly 100 of their customers are without power due to the accident. The affected area is shown below. Estimation for restoring power is 6pm 9:30pm.

4:05pm – The vehicle ended up south of the roadway in a front yard of a residence a couple doors east of the gas station on the corner of Axton Road and Northwest Drive. Axton Road was closed between Northwest Drive and Aldrich Road while awaiting the arrival of Puget Sound Energy crews to deal with the power lines attached to the sheared off pole.
PSE is reporting only one person without power in the area. All passengers in the car were treated at the scene. No one required transport to the hospital.
A witness told Discover Ferndale via Facebook they saw the car heading east when it left the road, split the pole into three pieces and took out a speed limit sign. A small fire started and there was a flash of light from the pole still attached to the lines.
3:35pm – Aid and law enforcement are responding to a report of a vehicle versus pole accident on Axton Road just east of Northwest Drive. Just prior to this report, neighbors in the area reported power flickering. There may be a localized outage in the area. Puget Sound Energy has been notified. Initial report is the pole is sheared off.
