Update: New Ferndale area closures and cancellations due to COVID-19 concerns

FERNDALE, Wash. — Many Ferndale area businesses and event organizers have been impacted by concerns and mandates in response to the current COVID-19 virus pandemic.

Here are lists of announced closures and cancellations in the Ferndale area:

Temporarily Closed Businesses & Organizations

  • Ferndale Schools
    Closed beginning March 17th
  • Ferndale Public Library
    Closed
  • Ferndale Senior Activity Center
    Facility is closed but lunches to-go are available
  • Ferndale Visitor Center
    located at the Ferndale Pavilion Community Center
    Closed until further notice with brochures available in the vestibule
  • Ferndale Police Department SCOPE Officer program 
    City of Ferndale
    Vacation checks and event services are temporarily suspended
  • Ferndale YMCA
    Closed beginning March 17th and all classes canceled
  • Locker Room Fitness
    The gym is closed and all group fitness classes canceled
  • Flow Motion
    Closed beginning March 17th
  • New Mexico Tamale Company
    Closed
  • Barb’s Pies and Pastries
    Closed
  • Leader Block Wine Co.
    Closed
  • Everyday Fitness Inc

NOTE: Some food service businesses are in the process of implementing take-out and delivery service options in order to reopen in the near future.
