7:30am: Good morning. Your morning update is a little late as we have been covering the unexpected prolonged closure of Washington Street this morning. Other than that little snafu, it is simply a cold and dry morning out with temperatures around Ferndale in the mid-30s. If you have a view of the sunrise, it would probably be a good idea to grab your camera. Send us your pictures and we will happily share them with your neighbors.
One local commute route is reported to still be closed due to water over the roadway:
- Marine Drive between Lummi Shore Drive and Ferndale Road
