7:15am: Good morning. It’s a breezy morning with temperatures around Ferndale in the upper 50s under cloudy skies.
TRAFFIC
The closure of Washington Street to through traffic continues (at least until September). The official detour is via Vista Drive and 3rd Avenue.
I-5 roadwork between Ferndale and Blaine in the northbound lanes is scheduled to continue until about 11am today. Expect the northbound I-5 off- and on-ramps at Portal Way (exit 263) to be closed as well as a northbound lane closure in the work area. Work is scheduled to resume this evening at 7pm and continue until 11am tomorrow with a lane closure but no ramp closures.
