A private contractor plans to be installing a sewer line today, Thursday, July 20th, and tomorrow across W Smith Road between Myers Drive and W Bel Drive (indicated on map below). As a result, drivers should anticipate delays through the work area.
The road is expected to remain open with traffic control and speed reduction devices in place.
The sewer connection will lead to the planned Smith Meadows development located south of W Smith Road. Plans are for 11-lots in the single-family residential development which has been on hold since 2007 due to the economic downturn.
The work is weather dependent and dates may change due to weather conditions.
