FERNDALE, Wash. — About 10am today, May 2nd, City of Ferndale officials announced W Smith Road between LaBounty Drive and Hovander Road is now closed to all traffic due to surface water flooding.
The road will remain closed until the water and debris recede and crews are able to ensure the roadbed remains structurally safe. No estimate was available for when that might be.
Drivers can access services and businesses behind the road closure via Hovander Road from Main Street.
