Work to upgrade the sanitary sewer pump station between the railroad tracks and Pioneer Bridge is expected to “temporarily impact” traffic on Main Street.
According to a city official, it will be necessary tomorrow, Tuesday, to stop cars long enough to allow a large pumper truck to access the project site via Main Street. Ferndale Police and flaggers will be temporarily stopping traffic at 1st Avenue and Hovander Road to clear the road, enabling the maneuver.
This is expected to happen multiple times between noon and 4pm as the truck will make multiple trips to and from the project site.
