Drivers should be prepared and aware that thousands of runners following a course through Ferndale can be expected to impact traffic tomorrow morning, Friday, July 12th.
Since 2007, relay teams participating in the Annual Northwest Passage Ragnar Relay have taken off from Blaine and followed a course through Ferndale on their way to the end of the course on Whidbey Island.

Runners on over 400 teams are expected to pass through Ferndale between 8am and 1pm.
Drivers are advised to use caution since runners and relay team support van drivers come from all over the Pacific Northwest and are often unfamiliar with local area and roads.
