Construction of a planned compact single-lane roundabout on Portal Way, between the I-5 northbound on- and off-ramps, is scheduled to begin Monday, July 30th.
City officials say drivers can expect delays on Portal Way while crews widen the intersection during the first couple weeks of the project and flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic through the construction zone.
The northbound I-5 on- and off-ramps be closed for up to 5 days during the final phase of the project in mid-August according to City officials.
