BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Marine Drive, between Rural Avenue and Lummi Shore Drive, was closed due to water over the roadway about 9:45am on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
What-COMM 911 issued a radioed notification to local law enforcement advising of the closure.
This may be the first of several road closures this week due to expected heavy lowland rains following recent heavy rainfall in the mountains.
