FERNDALE, Wash. — US Army Corp of Engineers crew is in the process of repairing damage to a levee near downtown Ferndale according to City of Ferndale officials.
The work is being done to repair and rebuild the levee armor in a section of the levee near Pioneer Park that was damaged during the recent high water events according to Ferndale Public Works Supervisor Bo Westford.
Drivers can expect delays in the area along Ferndale Road between Cherry Street and Ulrich Road between 7am and 7pm this week until the work is completed. Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic.
