WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Whatcom County Public Works warns drivers to expect delays due to rolling 1-lane closures on Birch Bay-Lynden Road between N Enterprise Road and Rathbone Road starting Tuesday, September 7th.
The lane closures are needed while crews stripe and install rumble strips and pavement markings. These are the final steps of a project that has been underway for several weeks.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes when possible.
Work and traffic impacts are expected to continue beyond next week and, since the work is weather-dependent, rain in the forecast could extend that further.
