If your morning commute involves Grandview Road, you probably remember the traffic debacle from two weeks ago.

The contractor will need to return two more times to the same stretch of road to finish the project. Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 10th, will be one of those days, according to the project manager.

Fog seal is to be applied over the chip seal laid down two weeks ago on Grandview Road between Portal Way and N Star Road. According to the contractor, the plan is to set up traffic control in the late morning after they have completed similar work on Blaine Road. That should provide relief to morning commuters, some of whom reported delays of upwards of 30 minutes during the chip seal phase of the project that started early in the morning.

Drivers can expect traffic to be reduced to a single lane through the work area with flaggers directing traffic.
