Tapping any of the menu choices will take the reader to the menu item’s page enabling easy navigation of the entire website.

Clicking the red magnifying glass icon at the top-right (when viewed on a small screen device) will open a window that will accept your search terms. Readers can search for any terms and results will include any news stories, calendar events and job postings that include the search terms. Frequently used terms (e.g. “sighting”) will result in a lot of results whereas searches for less-frequently used terms (e.g. “bear sighting”) will result in more accurate results.

Do you see a white bell in a red circle at the bottom-right of your screen (like what is appearing in the screen captures above)? Congratulations if you do! It means your device and browser are able to accept real-time notifications when news stories are published on To enable the notifications, simply tap the bell icon and opt-in for notifications (see example below). To opt-out, simply tap the bell again and choose to opt-out.
